ASUS VivoBook S551LN Driver Download, and Reviews– The Asus Vivobook S551 is a 15-inch ultrabook to consider. Elegant, powerful, powerful and efficient, it offers most of the things you want for a laptop like that. It’s not as light as it might seem and has some small design features, but these should not stop you.

While 15-inch ultrabooks are still scarce, more and more potential buyers are interested in this category of portable machines because they offer the power and functionality required by most everyday tasks while they lose essentials.

The Asus Vivobook S551 is one of the last 15-inch ultrabooks launched and offers a lot for the price, starting at around $ 800 or less. As a consumer machine, it is designed to be convenient while incorporating fast hardware, long battery life, and a sleek case. And like Vivobook, it also sports a touchscreen.

Of course, Vivibook S551 is not without flaws, but as you’ll see in this review, you can easily live with most of them. And that’s why I’m sure this laptop will be very popular in the coming months.

But enough, let’s go. We have here the most powerful version of the S551, the Asus Vivobook S551LB, and we will talk about all the important aspects below. In the United States, the same laptop will be sold as Asus Vivobook V551LB.

The S551 is a rather large laptop with a 15.6-inch screen. However, this is an ultrabook, as I said at the beginning, which is why it is very elegant. In fact, it’s thinner than my Lenovo X220, as you can see here. On the contrary, this VivoBook is not the lightest on the market because it is primarily intended to offer a lot of money.

So you should not be surprised that it weighs around 5.5 pounds, which hardly distinguishes it from a normal laptop. But at least it is quite robust and certainly an observer in its class, I would say. The inner body is molded from a piece of solid metal, a well-structured aluminum foil covers the hood and you will only find the plastic on your stomach.

By the way, there are very few cuts here except a small cooling grid on the side and the speakers positioned forward. The battery is encapsulated and the components are not easily accessible. However, with a suitable screwdriver, you can remove the 10 screws that secure the plastic in place and take a look at the interior parts.

You will see how the material appears in the images below. There are 4 GB of RAM soldered to the motherboard and an extra DIMM, hidden behind the aluminum cover next to the processor (third image below), so it can be complicated to get there, but not impossible if you know you do it
